Now once you've done that go to your downloads folder and drag the Mod/CC file to that folder, unless its a zip folder download, and boom you are done with getting the file where it needs to be.You can then go into the Mods folder and create subfolders for your different downloads such as Clothes, Furniture, Events, Traits, etc. Once you've done this I would drag it to your quick access (the sidebar) so you can easily drag files there but it's optional. Once you have your files downloaded open up your computers file explorer and go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and inside that folder create a new folder by right-clicking and going New > Folder and name is Mods.
I'm pretty sure if you have AdBlock it'll automatically skip this but since I dislike using that program I'm not to sure so if someone below knows id appreciate the info so I can update this part. Click that and it'll take it to where you can download the file. Wait 5 seconds and in the corner, a SKIP AD button will come up.

Have been told Mac files look about the same you'll just have to do an extra step for the Tray Importer but it is explained on their page I've been playing modded for as long as S4 has been out so if you have any other questions feel free to ask.ĭisclaimer I'm on a PC so I don't know if Mac has files set up differently.
